pink wash volcano training
Hola todos!
This week was sooo crazy, I'm so excited to catch you all up!
Last Monday was my last pday in Calbuco! We went to the beach with some friends and it was so beautiful and I can't wait to go back there someday. We had the transfer call and found out that I was going to go back up to Villarrica where I started my mission, but in a place called Pucón which is wayyy up north. Turns out the volcano up there is active and we're not allowed to go to our area yet because a lot of the people got evacuated. BUT I'M SO EXCITED TO GO!!!!
The night before I left, my comp fell down the stairs and sprained her ankle and couldn't walk at all. We went to the clinic the next day and she has to take a break from walking for a bit and then she should be good. She's so nervous to stay in Calbuco with a new comp and on top of that she can't really walk, but she is so amazing and so prepared and I'm just so proud of her. Saying bye to her was really hard because we bonded so much and I loved being her comp.
My new comp is hermana Johnson! She is from Arizona and is so fun and chill. I feel like we're already really good friends and know were gonna party it up together. I feel sooo bad because on her first day we got on a 6 hour bus ride and have to stay in a house that's not ours, so it'll be tough adjusting but she has a good attitude about it. This is my first time white washing and training and I'm sooo excited!! But not living in our area makes it a little difficult because we can only do the work by calling people, so it'll be an interesting week for sure.
Love you allll
Hermana Stewart
