Resucitados del 18

Hola todos!!

This week was a little tough for my comp and I because we had 2 best friend 13 year old kids who wanted to be baptized yesterday but their parents said no. It's so sad because they want to be baptized but they're not allowed to without their parents permission. It has been so cool being able to prepare them for that step and help them feel apart of the branch family here in calbuco. When their parents said no, they asked us if they could still come to church and activities, and I thought that was so sweet. I have no doubt that they'll be baptized in the future because they want that so much.

Our gold friend Neri also left on vacations for the next 3 months. She was so ready to be baptized too but said she wanted to do it when she gets back. We said bye to her yesterday and it was so bittersweet. I think God is definitely teaching my comp and I how to have patience with someone's conversion process. We have still felt a lot of motivation to keep working which has been really special to experience. God has a plan for each of our friends and we have loved seeing it play out and have an impact in their lives.

So even though a lot of our baptism plans fell through, I found a girl on facebook who told me that her friend needed to hear a message about God, and then we found our new friend Aaron. He's such a spiritual giant and he reminds me so much of David from Osorno. He rides a motorcycle and invited us to go ride with him and that was the hardest no ever. But we think he's gonna get baptized so fast because he loves learning with us and coming to church. He is sooo good.

Miracle of the week:
One of our friends is an English teacher and she invited me to go and speak at a student assembly. It was so crazy, I had no idea what I was going to say but I decided to introduce myself as a missionary and then talked in English and they loved it. At the end a lady came up to us and told us of some people that we needed to go visit. We also met a family who recently moved and were looking to go to church! The mom said they started going to Jehovas witness and her daughter straight up said that she missed celebrating her birthday and Christmas and so she wanted to go with us instead. The little kids here are so great at trying to influencing their parents, I love it.

Love you guys!!
Hermana Stewart
