hitch hiking to church

Hola todos!!


This week went by so fast! My comp and I are working so hard and seeing so many miracles! Starting with yesterday, we had our friend Neri tell us in the morning that she wanted to come to church with us. We were super excited but because of the time change in Chile, there were no taxi drivers outside. She had no idea how she was going to get there and she lives an hour walk from the church. We called some members to see if someone could pick her up, and nobody answered either. My comp and I prayed soooo much and did all we could and then went to church. A little bit later we found out that NERI HITCH HIKED TO CHURCH!!! She showed up out of nowhere and said that some random guy pulled over and helped her get there. It may be because she's a 70 year old grandma, or maybe because it was freezing cold out and he felt bad, but either way God worked a miracle, softened a heart, and she came. But it gets better. Yesterday was fast and testimony meeting and she shared her testimony for her first church meeting ever. She thanked everyone and testified that the book of mormon is true and the spirit was so strong. She is such a light and I love her so much.


Also I love my comp!!! She is my best friend and I am so grateful for her. We have started teaching a lot of incomplete families, where certain people got baptized and others didn't. It has been such a special experience teaching them and helping them grow as a family. I feel like I have learned so much about God's plan and the purpose of families. The spirit has been so strong and I have felt an increased amount of gratitude and love for my family each day.
