Bread of Life

Hola todos!!


This week was the best. I love being a missionary SO MUCH!!


Last monday our zone had a huge party because it was the last pday of the transfer, and we all wore our matching jerseys so it was super fun. I loved the people that were here this last transfer and I made a ton of life long friends, so there were a lot of hard goodbyes. Hermana Campbell and I are staying here in Osorno for another transfer and I am actually so excited because I love our friends and the members so much and I can't say bye to them yet. There is so much potential here and I love feeling the love God has for these people everyday.


This past week we have been sharing the Book of Mormon with everyone. My favorite thing is when we explain how it's another testament of Jesus Christ and show them 3 Nephi 11, because then they get all curious and want to read it. We have four friends right now who are actively reading the Book of Mormon and texting us questions and I am so happy!!! I love that our friends are progressing and I love that they're learning more about my favorite book.


Our highlight of the week was definitely making bread with our friend David. He's 24 and works as a bread maker on a boat down in Puerto Montt so obviously we planned a family home evening and he taught us how to make chilean bread, and it turned out amazing. A couple nights later I remade them in our house to practice and they tasted sooo good but didn't turn out as pretty as his did. David is such a considerate and polite person and he thinks about things in such a deep way. The lesson we had that night was amazing because the spirit was so strong, and also because he is willing to change and has desires to be a disciple of Christ. When he told us that he believes this church is true and that he has felt God's love more since he started talking with us, I couldn't stop smiling. I live for these moments on the mission. The joy that we have felt this past week because of the choices our friends have made is indescribable. I love the mission so much.
