TRAINING and leaving the crib

Heyyyy todos!! We had cambios this past week and I got transfered to Osorno! My comps name is Hermana Stamper and I'm training her and love it so much! I'm in the big city now and so much has happened, this transfer has been the craziest one yet and we're only in 4 days.

Last Monday we were hanging out with the sisters in our zone and had a super fun night because we found out about transfers together. Im not sure if you guys remember, but last transfer i secretly really wanted to train, and now I'm doing it!!! It was so hard to leave Paillaco, it was my first area and where i was born on the mission. The love from the members and our friends was so strong, but also I felt super comfortable and needed a challenge to help me learn some more. Now I feel like I'm growing so much and everything is so crazy spiritual. My companion and I have had some of the coolest lessons and experiences I've ever had and we've only been together for a couple days.

We also found a new friend in a park, and we started talking to her a bit and let me tell you, she is so special!!! We love her so much and the lesson we had with her went so well. I love teaching with my comp because we both talk in super broken Spanish but the spirit is always so strong. Also the gift of tongues is so real!!! I've definitely had to talk way more and surprisingly it hasn't been a huge problem understanding people and trying to teach them. Without a doubt I know this is exactly where I need to be right now and am so grateful for this opportunity to share the gospel in Osorno! One scripture that I loved from this week is Alma 5:46 which says "Behold, I have fasted and prayed many days that I might know these things of myself. And now I do know of myself that they are true; for the Lord God hath made them manifest unto me by his Holy Spirit." This made me think a lot about our testimonies and the invitation from President Nelson to make strengthening our testimonies our highest priority, and then we should watch for miracles to happen in our lives. I've started to focus on strengthening my testimony every day, and I've seen this promise come true through the numberless miracles that have been apart of my week, and I know this promise applies to all of you too!!
