Sharing the Love

Hola todos!!
This week went by so fast! We spent our pday in futrono and it is so beautiful! It reminds me a lot of Colorado because there are a ton of mountains, but there's also a beach too so it's even better. We celebrated two birthdays in the district with a little fire and some longaniza, which is sort of like hot dogs but more sausage like and it's my favorite thing ever. It's become a tradition in the district for the past 4 months or so, and every time we get the fire to start is a miracle.

We also had the multizone conference in Osorno again, and it was so fun to see everyone! Our zone tried to coordinate wearing Christmas colors and I feel like we actually did a really good job! Tomorrow a lot of my friends are going home to their families which is so sad but I have happy tears for them.

There were a lot of special experiences and miracles that we got to be apart of this week. We went to visit a member and when we got there it was perfect timing because all of her less active family members were there too, so it was great to get to know them a little better. It's so hard to have so much love for these people and see them live so distant from the gospel, we've been visiting them for 5 months and nothing big has happened or changed, but I'm sure the little actions and efforts have been making a difference in their lives.

We were also able to teach 2 of our friends about the Book of Mormon. We probably talked about how the Book of Mormon is a different book than the bible for over 30 minutes, but it was cool to finally see something click in their heads and to help them understand a little bit more about it. We did my all time favorite lesson, where we read a chapter and then explain what's going on every 3 or 4 verses so they can understand the story and how it applies to us today. I love this sooo much because I love finding the importance that each verse has for me, and that it might be different for someone else. We can learn so much from the Book of Mormon and I feel so much joy and peace sharing it with the people here in Paillaco

Love you all!
Hermana Stewart
