semana de milagros!

Hola todos!

This week we had so many miracles! We were able to have a ton of super cool experiences finding new people, so I'll just share one of my favorites. We were visiting some less actives and we "knocked a couple of doors" (in Chile we stand outside their house and yell ahlooo instead) and we weren't having a lot of success with that. I had the thought that we should just go to a random house before we headed home, so I picked one and we went over. A guy answered and said that he was busy, but that we could come back tomorrow anytime. As we were leaving, a big family walked past us and greeted us with tons of excitement, and after we talked for a bit, they went into the same house. It was super cool and everything was planned perfectly which I know was not a coincidence. We were able to set up an appointment with their family and have learned that one of the family members in a different part of Chile was baptized recently, and so they wanted to know more. After this experience, my comp and I were freaking out because it was so cool!! It's hard to explain how happy we were because it seems like a little thing, but I'm learning that all the little successes are everything when we feel like our efforts are not very effective.

Okay let's talk about General Conference!!! How awesome is it that we have this opportunity to hear what Heavenly Father wants us to hear two times a year. Every year I feel like it's so short and goes by so fast, I just want to hear more! But the good news is that we can go back and study everything. This past week I was reminded of my first time going through the temple, and how I didn't really learn much because everything was very new. Only through going back multiple times have I been able to learn and grow my understanding of God's plan for me. General Conference is the same way, we are receiving new impressions and lots of direction, but we won't take it all away with us the first time we hear it. We need to go back and study the words and pray to receive a confirmation of what we have learned.
One thing that I loved from conference was from Michelle D Craig, who said that God is more concerned with our growth than our comfort. I can confidently second that because lately I've been pushed out of my comfort zone like crazy, but I have been learning so much. This week we have intercambios and I'm leading it here in Paillaco and I am sooo nervous, but also I know Paillaco super well and am excited to take charge for a day with a new companion! Ah conference was so good!! Please let me know what your favorite talks and insights were! :)

Love you all!
Hermana Stewart

So sorry I don't have any good pics from this week, but here's one of my buddies!
