We're getting an Hermana!

We’ve been taking this all in. And tonight it just hit me- our girl is going to be an Hermana!! That name is special in our home. It was the sweet Hermanas and Sister missionaries who have served in our mission that firmed up Makenna’s desire to serve a mission. At one point we were blessed to have four- two Hermanas and two English speaking sisters. Makenna has always loved them, has become fast friends with them, even crying each time they left us. Because of their beautiful light which they shared, she had a desire to serve just like them.

If you were a sister missionary who visited our home- this Momma is sharing this HUGE thank you accompanied by my warmest hug for all you did to bring such a light into our lives. And tonight we have witnessed the transfer of that light to our own daughter.
