We had a fun surprise for our Hermana at the airport today. The Hamilton's in our stake (who served in Makenna's mission once) shared with us their traditional Chilean outfits. We had so much fun hugging our girl today! THE Best day!
Both sets of grandparents also came out to hug her and be here this weekend!
To add to the fun, she also travelled with an Elder from her mission who is also from Colorado. So there were two reunions going on- and pretty cool both from the same mission.

Finally Everyone! The great thing about having two missionaries come in at the same time is we take pictures for them and they did for us.

Instead of a sign we made a blanket she can wrap up in whenever she misses Chile.

Two of the best missionaries from the Chile Osorno/Puerto Montt mission!

After a long couple days of travel, Hermana Stewart and Elder Rolfson arrived home to Colorado today. Hermana Stewart was also delighted to reunite with one of her MTC companions, Hermana Rich on one of her flights!

The homecomings at the airport were a pretty big deal. We witnessed three! There was definitely a neat spirit in the airport today.

At one point an onlooker approached her and started talking to her about Chile. Love seeing her being a missionary all the way up to the end!

SO love this! The crew is back together -Like they were never apart!

After a super beautiful release with President Copple, Makenna asked to come home and have sloppy joes for lunch. And for dessert, another surprise! These donuts are her fave! She said she could eat a whole box. Thanks Grammie!

This big sis travelled for 28 hours and had very little, if any, sleep. She was practically nodding off before her meal even came. Time to go home and put this girl to bed so she can speak tomorrow.
