1 year mark
Hola todos!! Cómo están?
This week was great because we have a friend who is hard core progressing toward baptism!! His name is Carlos and I talk about him in all of my emails because he has such a light and I love teaching him and listening to his testimony. I've been thinking a lot lately about some of the things I've learned on the mission so far, and one of them is definitely how to go through hard things with faith. I like to be as optimistic as I can in my emails, but also I want to be real and say that serving a mission is so hard. Its hard when you feel like you're not making a difference or when you're not being heard. BUT God is always there at our side because this is His work. He gives us hard trials in life to let us choose if it'll grow our relationship with God or if it'll tear it apart. Having faith in Him is a choice. Choosing to trust in Him despite the circumstances you are in brings the most peace and joy that you can find in this world. Having faith builds you into the person God wants you to become. I am so grateful to have been serving a mission for 1 year now! I love the things that the Lord has taught me and am so grateful to help others come to know Christ.
I love you all so much!!
