pancake party
Hola todos!!
This week we had our interviews with presidente!! It was so good and he hyped up my comp and I so much, we're sooo ready to have another baptism this weekend. I'll keep you all updated on what happens :) missionary work is so fun.
We had a party with the hermanas last pday and we made so many pancakes. If I've learned anything on the mission, it's how to make the best pancakes ever. My future family is going to be so lucky. We had 10 of us in the same house and it was insane, we stayed up super late and it was such a party!
Also I love my companion!! She is such a hard worker and I have loved training her! On pday usually we don't teach lessons during the day, but we've been trying to teach this family that is always so busy because the parents are working at a haircut shop. She decided to set up an appointment with them to be able to teach them the restoration during her haircut today. What a queen. I'm learning so much from her and lately have been feeling extra grateful for this time together in this sector.
Mosiah 5:2
And they all cried with one voice, saying: Yea, we believe all the words which thou hast spoken unto us; and also, we know of their surety and truth, because of the Spirit of the Lord Omnipotent, which has wrought a mighty change in us, or in our hearts, that we have no more disposition to do evil, but to do good continually.
I know that the people of King Benjamin had this mighty change in their hearts, but that going forward they all continued to make mistakes. I love that the good news of this gospel is that we can continue to rely on Jesus Christ and His atonement everyday. We are here to make mistakes, and He is here to help us change. He is our perfect example who has prepared our path back to our Heavenly Father. I am so grateful for Him.
Love you all!!
