Training a GREENIE
Hola todos!!
We had transfers this past week and I'm training a new girl straight out of the MTC! When I first found out I was so excited and was feeling really chill about it, and turns out she is super prepared to be here so she's going to learn so fast. Her name is Hermana Campbell, and in the past 4 days we've been together I've already seen her Spanish get so much better. We have a lot of good friends to teach right now too, so it's just been miracle after miracle this week. She is also an amazing cross country runner and getting up and running every day has become my favorite thing. She makes me run faster and I make her talk in Spanish all day so it's a good deal.
Saying goodbye to Hermana Stamper was the hardest goodbye I've ever had on the mission so far. I love that girl, literally an angel in my life. She got transferred down to Punta Arenas which is the southernmost part of Chile, and will probably be there all winter which is so crazy. Elder Stevenson is coming to visit our mission pretty soon, so I'll see her again in about a week or so!! :)
This week we had a lot of cool miracles happen. We were able to teach the relief society lesson and all of the sisters love my companion already. Training a newbie has been a lot harder than I thought it would be, but it has definitely helped me realize how much I love the mission. I am so grateful to be here and to be serving Heavenly Father.
Matthew 25:40
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
I love you all!
Hermana Stewart
