This week I kissed a fish

Yup you heard it! This week I don't have a lot to update on except for that I kissed a fish at a less active members house. If that doesn't get them to come to our branch activity coming up I don't know what will. Haha anyways we were making pancakes and their son walked in with a bag of fish and the rest is history. But lately we have been hanging out with the members and have been doing a lot of service, and it makes us so happy! We love talking and bonding with them more and its helped us get to know more of the less active members too. It's so fun hearing their stories and learning from them, especially now that I understand the majority of what they're saying. I also had my first Thanksgiving in Chile and my comp and I ate a full tub of ice cream to celebrate!!

Yesterday I hit 5 months on the mission and everyday here I feel like the love that I have for these people grows more and more. I am so lucky to be here and share the gospel of Jesus Christ and help others find true joy in their lives. I love feeling like I'm finally making progress in the language and with helping more people strengthen their relationship with God. The members of this branch in Paillaco will always have a huge place in my heart.

I love you all and hope you had a good Thanksgiving!!
