Party in the CCM!!! Week 2
Tons of Rain this week!
Hola hola!
Today is my one month mark out on the mission and it's been awesome so far! Last night I received my travel plans and found out that I fly out to Santiago Aug 8th, so I only have 12 days left in the CCM. The good thing is that I'm flying out with all the elders in my district and with Hermana Rich, so we still get to party together.
One of my favorite things about the CCM is that everyone is always saying hi to each other. I get to see my old district a ton and it's always so fun to catch up with them. We have sisters in our zone who only speak Spanish, and I love them so much!! It's so fun to talk to them because they are either nodding their head and reassuring you or they're laughing at you. It's the best!
This week our spanish has gotten a lot better and we've been keeping busy everyday. We are such a unit when we practice teaching lessons. Hermana Rich has been dealing with a lot of pain lately and is going to get a root canal done today, so hopefully she will be able to recover fast!!
One of my favorite scriptures from this past week:
Alma 37:37 Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.
I love this scripture because it shows the importance of prayer, and how we can pray about anything and whenever we need to. I especially love the idea that everyday is a gift from God. He has complete power over the number of days that we have, and each day is important because He has a purpose or need for us to fulfill.
Have a good week! I love you all!
