Made it to Mexico :)
Hola todos!! This week has been so long! Getting to the CCM was pretty straight forward, except the flight out of Salt Lake to Mexico was super bumpy and people were yelling a bit but it was fine. The bus drivers here are so awesome, I have no idea how they do it but they always drive in the middle of the road and cut people off, it's super sketchy but it's so fun, I love it. There are tons of colorful houses here and so many palm trees, and the weather has been so perfect.
Tuesday night we got to the CCM and had about 30 minutes to find our apartment, move in, get dinner, and go to the devotional. My days usually start around 6am and end at 11pm, and every minute of the day is planned out for us. We have 2 super long classes each day but our teachers are so engaging and inspiring. Online MTC was good but the CCM is so much better. I get to see my old district around the area and it's so good to see them!! I feel like I can't even begin to explain how awesome this place is.

My companions are amazing!! I'm still in a trio with Hermana Rich and Hermana Hiatt and we have so much fun together. I love them so much and already don't want to say goodbye to them. Hermana Rich is literally the most loving and giving person I've ever met, and Hermana Hiatt is so good at keeping us all excited and energetic during the day. We spend a lot of time together and we get along pretty well which is all I could ask for. We also got called as sister training leaders and we are so excited to get to know the new girls that just got in last night!
Also, I love being a missionary!!! I feel the spirit all the time and it's so amazing. My district is full of incredible people who love God and have the desire to be there. Learning Spanish is hard but it's so great to be able to go through it together. This Friday we're doing an English fast and so hopefully that will help us get a little better. This morning we went to the temple and it was so cool to be able to go through in S
panish!
Over the past week I've been working on adding all my saved insights and scriptures on my phone into my paper scriptures, and it's probably the best thing I've ever done. I love the Book of Mormon so much, it's so awesome. I like how in Mosiah 29:6 it talks about how important it is to make decisions based on the promptings you receive. Mosiah knew that we shouldn't say yes to good opportunities (like being a king) because they are good. We should only make choices and accept good opportunities if we feel impressed to do so. The Holy Ghost should be our only guide, not our wants or needs.
Love you all lots!
